Morton frowned and said, "It's even worse than I thought..."
Fortunately, that guy hadn't woken up yet.
But if he woke up, how would he explain all this to him with things being like this?
However, this wasn't even the worst part... the Bishop family's mother and daughter somehow got involved with the president of Skyline Corporation, Sebastian.
If his wife didn't keep causing trouble, whatever happened to that mother and daughter would be none of the Klein family's business.
He could still secretly look after them, and help that person bear the mistake for so many years.
At the very least, he wouldn't piss that guy off, and maybe even earn some gratitude.
But now, things were getting too complicated for him to handle.
He hated his wife's ignorance even more and glared at Mrs. Klein before leaving. "Once this is over, I'm divorcing you! You're nothing but trouble in my eyes, and the Klein family can't stand you!"
Mrs. Klein went pale, took a few panicked steps back, and couldn't believe what she just heard.
She shrieked, "Morton, you dare?!"
Morton had had enough of her and stormed out of the office.
Katherine bitterly said, "Mom, just chill out, alright?"
Mrs. Klein slapped her and said, "Shut up! You ungrateful bitch! I raised you for nothing!"
Katherine said, "Why should I listen to you? I was raised by the Klein family. I've already paid the price for the marriage alliance! What else do you want from me?"
Cooper frowned and said, "Enough! If the Klein family is in trouble, we'll all be affected! Sister, take mom home."
A thought suddenly came to her mind.
So she said, "Katherine may not make it, but Angela must be able to. Go, my daughter. There's no way a child born out of an affair could compare to my Klein family's daughter... As long as Sebastian isn't stupid, there's no chance he'd willingly marry a bastard child!"
Cooper frowned and asked, "Mom, what the hell are you trying to do?"
Mrs. Klein: "If Sebastian didn't support that mistress and her daughter, your father wouldn't be so afraid. Angela, be a good girl and go. You've always been better than your sister. I'm sure you can do it. As long as Sebastian sees you, there's no way someone like Stephanie could get his attention!"
Angela frowned and said, "Mom, I don't understand what you're saying. I just care about the Klein family's safety."
"Then go! Hurry up and go! Don't just stand here!" Mrs. Klein yelled crazily.
Angela looked at Cooper with a wronged expression, "Cooper..."
Cooper sighed deeply and said, "If you're worried, go check on him. Don't worry about the company. I've got it covered."
