As Stephanie spoke, Jeffrey heard a crisp little girl's voice and subconsciously looked up in her direction.

That glance left him a bit stunned.

This little girl's eyes... were just so beautiful.

Such attractive eyes, only Ashley's has always kept him in mind.

Thinking of Ashley, a faint pain arose in Jeffrey's heart.

Brian saw Stephanie and quickly smiled, saying, "Mr. Perez, let me introduce you. This is my daughter's classmate, and she's acting in the same drama as my daughter in the crew!"

Jeffrey nodded expressionlessly, not saying a word.

After the introduction, Brian greeted Stephanie, "Steph, are you getting used to being in the crew?"

"I'm doing well, the Director and the crew are all good to me, and so is Maddie, so don't worry."

"With Maddie around, I'm at ease. You guys are all good kids. Take care of each other!"

"Don't worry! Once we're done filming, we'll go to your house to hang out with Maddie. Mrs. Palmer's desserts are just so delicious."

"It's easy to eat the snacks she made. She has long wanted to visit the crew...I didn't let her go, so Maddie should have more hardships in the crew."

Mr. Lowe finally joined in, "So Maddie is actually your daughter, Mr. Palmer..."

Brian laughed, "That's right, but don't show her any favoritism just because she's my daughter. Do what needs to be done and let her gain more experience."

People in the crew, including the Director, only knew that Maddie got in through connections but didn't know she was actually the boss's daughter.

Even Giovanni was surprised.

If she'd known earlier... she would've tried to be friends with Maddie from the start.
