Stephanie screamed in terror, thinking she was going to fall hard.
The floor was all tile, if she fell backwards and hit her head, she'd definitely get a concussion!
Luckily, Sebastian made a timely rescue.
He caught her in his arms and frowned, "Can't you be a little more careful?"
Stephanie, now in his arms, had gone pale from the scare, it was clear she was really shaken.
"I... I couldn't pull the blanket, so I used a bit of force...but I didn't control it well and lost my balance..."
Sebastian put her down and noticing she wasn't wearing any shoes, he said, "Put on your slippers, the floor is cold."
Stephanie replied in a daze, "Oh..."
"If you can't pull it next time, call me. I'm tall, I can take it out without stepping on a stool."
"Okay..." She figured there wouldn't be a next time.
Was she supposed to sleep on the floor every time she came over?
She grabbed the blanket and spread it out on a clear place on the floor.
Sebastian brought a pillow from the bed and placed it on the floor, then said, "Go get some clothes from Judith, she should have prepared a lot for you... I'll be downstairs, I'll come up when you're done showering."
"Okay..."
Judith really prepared a lot of clothes for Stephanie.
New toiletries were also provided and delivered to the room.
Stephanie took them and said thanks before heading to the bathroom.
The bathroom was still steamy from Sebastian's recent shower.
The air was filled with a hint of mint, she had noticed the scent when Sebastian caught her.
It was probably the scent of his shower gel, it smelled quite nice.
The faint fragrance was not cloying at all.
Stephanie took a shower, her mind a bit foggy.
