"Smack..." Another crisp slap echoed.
Derek frowned, and Giovanni… really did.
But the director didn't call it quits...probably because Giovanni's acting was excellent, and the resentment in her eyes was very real.
Stephanie can only bear it.
After two consecutive slaps, she was momentarily dazed, but her vision remained clear.
The transformed witch had nothing but endless hatred in her eyes... the kind of hatred that wanted to see everyone perish.
"Kill me if you dare! Otherwise... as long as I, the witch, live, I'll make all humans pay the price!
Hahaha... Fernando's such a loser, falling in love with a human girl... if his future partner was a goddess, I could accept that... but to fall for such a pathetic human like you... do you know what humans are in our witches' eyes?
Even the tiniest ant is more noble than you!
Hahaha... you lot deserve to be wiped out!"
"Smack..." Another crisp slap echoed.
The smug witch couldn't laugh anymore.
The audience would definitely enjoy this part... Stephanie thought so too. After all, she was playing a villain, a murderous witch. Good defeating evil was always a crowd-pleasing plot.
But... she felt so sad inside.
Because she deeply understood this character... knew everything about the witch, her growth, her personality, her logic... her love, her unattainable desires!
She knew what the audience liked to see.
Unexpectedly, Giovanni heard this line... and got goosebumps all over her body.
She felt a chill in her heart... as if the words were not only for the character in the movie but also for her, Giovanni, in real life.
Just slapping her face... felt so relieving, and her mood improved after those three slaps.
But Stephanie's connections still made her somewhat cautious.
As soon as the director yelled "Cut," Gillian and Maddie rushed over, as well as Alison.
She said seriously, "Her face is swelling... Ms. Bishop, we must go to the hospital immediately!"
The director, hearing this, hurried over to ask, "Is it serious? We have some ointment for swelling on set..."
Alison coldly looked at him and said, "No need... we'll go to the hospital ourselves. Director, I'll report this matter to Gracie in detail."
