Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 318

The director finally gathered the courage to speak up, "Um... Giovanni, I'm giving you a day off. Go back to the hotel and sort yourself out, we'll shoot other scenes today."

Giovanni, teary-eyed, said, "Thank you, director... I know I messed up. I apologize to everyone in the crew, I'm sorry... I lied to you all, but rest assured, I'll mend my ways and strive to be a better person... I'll also work harder at acting, I won't let your efforts be in vain."

Everyone looked at her disheveled state and couldn't bear to blame her anymore.

But no one talked to her.

Giovanni knew she had no standing in the crew but she couldn't care less about that, because being able to hold on to the last shred of dignity and not being immediately exposed was a blessing. Having a powerful backer like Stephanie, someone even Mrs. Perez wouldn't dare offend, was what saved her.

She was already very content.

With tears streaming down her face, she bowed to everyone and was then helped out by an assistant.

The director then cheerfully said, "Ah, Ms. Gracie is here too."

Gracie said haughtily, "If I hadn't shown up today, this crew would be toast."

"Yes... We're extremely grateful to you, Ms. Gracie. You saved our entire crew... We've been shooting for so long, everyone has put in so much effort, at least it wasn't all for nothing."

"Hmph... I came here today to settle the score with you. My artist was slapped three times, what kind of a director are you?"

The director, face red with embarrassment, said, "Misunderstanding... all a misunderstanding. I really thought Giovanni was too deep into her role... even Stephanie thought so too, otherwise, she wouldn't have called cut. She was really into the act too..."

Stephanie quickly said, "Yes... I also thought Giovanni had a breakthrough in her acting! She rarely has such moments, how could I bear to interrupt her!"
