Martin didn't say much. He just knocked on the CEO's office door and heard a voice from inside, "Come in."
Martin pushed the door open and saw the CEO busy with a piece of paper.
He glanced at the paper. There were several names on it, connected by lines to one name.
That name... was it Ms. Bishop's?
Just as he was about to take a closer look, the CEO looked up and stared at him.
Martin snapped back and said, "Mr. CEO, Ms. Bishop is looking for you."
Sebastian wasn't surprised. He knew Stephanie's phone had been smashed by Rebecca.
He took Martin's phone and said to the person on the other end, "Is Rebecca gone?"
"Yeah, she's gone. That woman actually smashed my phone! I tried calling you on Gillian's phone, but she didn't have your number, so I had to call your secretary."
"Alright... Did she apologize to you?"
"Yes, she did. That was your doing, right?"
"Yes."
"At first, I was really confused... Because she was furious with me, but suddenly she said my temper was just her cup of tea and apologized, saying we'd see each other again."
Sebastian smiled and said, "And then?"
"Then I made her pay for a new phone, and she agreed."
"Alright... Why didn't you tell me about getting slapped by an actress in the crew?"
"Huh? How did you know?"
"Stephanie! Have you forgotten what happened last time with the Ingram family?"
Stephanie, surprised, said, "I... I didn't think it was a big deal. My face is fine now."
"The future wife of Skyline Corporation's CEO gets slapped in public... Stephanie, do you think it's only your business?"
Does it involve the dignity of the entire Skyline Corporation?
