"As long as we protect her, everything will be fine."
"I know, but I'm still a bit worried. Her situation just got better, and I don't want her to face any more trouble."
Gracie said with a headache, "Steph, go talk to your teacher, Ok?"
"Gracie, chill out. If she were that easy to persuade, how come you couldn't do it before?"
Ashley said in surprise, "You told Steph about my stuff?"
"No!" Gracie was also surprised.
Stephanie winked at her and said, "My Silver Fox told me about it."
Brook couldn't help but interrupt, "Everyone in the class talks about it. You mean your mysterious fiancé?"
"Yep, my Silver Fox."
"President Ingram. He actually told you all this. Did he agree to help?"
"Gracie, you're so funny. You don't ask for my help with my teacher's stuff, but you go to him."
Gracie said helplessly, "The problem is, would it be any use to ask you?"
"Gracie, you think I, as the president's wife, am not as powerful as the president, huh?"
"I didn't mean that." Although she had thought so before, after hearing Martin's words yesterday, she no longer had that idea.
Brook and Ashley exchanged puzzled glances, their faces reflecting utter confusion. They were completely in the dark, unable to grasp the subject matter of the conversation unfolding before them.
"As long as you don't mean that. Gracie, remember, just talk to me directly about this kind of stuff in the future. If I can't solve it, I'll ask my Silver Fox for help."
Gracie quickly and seriously promised, "Alright, I got it."
"Steph, what are you guys talking about?" Ashley couldn't help but ask curiously.
