Maddie asked, "Steph, weren't you going to pick a gift for your Silver Fox?"
Stephanie hesitated. She did feel a bit awkward seeing Silver Fox right now.
But since she had promised to choose a gift, she had to do it.
Otherwise, she would feel even more embarrassed in front of Silver Fox.
Since she was already here, she might as well go again.
"Alright, I'll go."
"Aren't you going to say hi to your Silver Fox then?"
"Well, Maddie, I've recently done something that makes me feel awkward around Silver Fox. Don't you dare call out to him, even if we run into him, act like you didn't see him, okay?"
"Huh? Did you do something wrong? Is there another person involved?"
"What are you talking about, you believe what Angela said? Let's go pick the gift. Until I can face Silver Fox openly, I'll pretend I don't know him."
Maddie looked confused.
She wanted to ask further, but Stephanie had already dragged her away.
Mrs. Palmer, who was listening in, couldn't help but chuckle.
It must be a lovers' quarrel.
President Ingram seemed to be very fond of Stephanie.
It didn't seem like he had someone else in his heart.
