Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 392

Stephanie texted Gracie again.

Gracie replied, saying that although the ad money hasn't come in yet, she could front the money if Stephanie really needed it.

And so, Stephanie finally scraped together enough cash to buy the watch.

Even when her mom needed surgery, she couldn't borrow that much money.

To be honest, Gracie mainly helped her out of respect for Sebastian and Stephanie's status.

So, one way or another, she still relied on Sebastian.

After the auction, Stephanie went backstage to pay the auction house and transferred the money on the spot.

Then, the director of the auction house refunded her over five hundred thousand.

Stephanie was a bit puzzled: "Why are you giving me back over fifty million?"

The director explained with a smile: "For every item in our auction, we take a 10% commission. The boss just instructed us not to take your 10% commission, so we refunded it to you."

"Does your boss own this auction house?"

"It belongs to the Ingram family."

"Oh, I see. Thank you, director. So, does this watch belong to me now?"

"Yes."

The director opened the watch box and displayed the watch in front of Stephanie, allowing her to inspect it.

Stephanie took a close look at the watch and loved it even more.

Although it was old and filled with a sense of history, being an early watch design from the '70s or '80s,

it looked really impressive, and the more she looked at it, the more she thought it suited Silver Fox.

After putting the watch away, Stephanie left the auction house in high spirits.

Outside the auction house, Mrs. Palmer and Maddie were still waiting for her.

"Steph, did you get the watch?"

"I got it! Mrs. Palmer, Maddie, look, it's really beautiful!"

She also showed them the watch.
