Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 402

After Sebastian's dad passed away, the only member of the Ingram clan who still remembered his birthday each year was his grandpa.

So, the birthday feast today was probably a result of grandpa's painstaking effort to gather everyone, despite their differences, in celebration of his birthday.

Sebastian just couldn't bring himself to let the old man down.

He nodded and said, "I'll leave after dinner."

"Where on earth are you rushing off to? Sitting down for a chat after dinner won't eat up much of your time."

"Grandpa, have you forgotten about my fiancée? She's waiting for me at home to celebrate my birthday."

"Oops, you're right, I totally spaced on that. You're not even married yet... I thought you'd have gotten tired of playing house by now."

Sebastian couldn't help but chuckle: "I'm not like you, grandpa. I've got more of my father's blood in me, so I don't fall in love with every girl I meet! You're still a playboy even in your old age!"

"Don't think you're off the hook because it's your birthday! How dare you talk back to me!"

"Am I not speaking the truth?"

"What do you know, kid? As you get older, you young folks only think about yourselves. Once you have your own family, who cares about us old folks? If it wasn't for Aaron's mom keeping me company, I'd be bored to death at home! So, for the sake of my dignity, stop giving people the cold shoulder. When your uncles arrive, you better show some respect, got it?"
