After shooting the scene, Mr. Finnegan was pretty pleased.
It seemed like this girl had gotten some pro tips or something. She did a lot better than in her last scene.
Though she wasn't quite there yet, he reckoned she could still be in the game with some training.
Stephanie was shivering from the cold after shooting. Maddie and Gillian quickly wrapped her up in a coat.
Mr. Finnegan raised an eyebrow at this and said, "Little girl, in my crew, we shoot on location at all times. You gotta dress for whatever season it is in the script. You think you can handle this?"
Still shivering, Stephanie replied, "If others can do it, so can I! Director, how do you think I did?"
"No good! Your acting sucks. If we weren't so desperate, we would never let a rookie like you play such an important role. I can't believe we couldn’t find anyone better."
Frowning, Stephanie said, "If I'm so bad, why did you pick me? Just keep looking."
"You'll be okay with some polishing. You're it until we find someone better."
"Hmph, Mr. Finnegan, I don't like to brag, but since you look down on me, I'll make you eat your words!"
She wouldn't let her teacher down!
"Haha, I thought you were a little spitfire and would refuse to act! Alright, I'll look forward to being blown away by you!"
"Director, when do I join the crew?"
"Starting tomorrow, whether you have scenes or not, you'll stick with me, sit next to me and watch, observe others' acting, and learn. When you feel ready, you get on stage. This role is crucial, but half the film is yet to be shot, so no rush."
"Huh? I start tomorrow?"
