Stephanie wore a puzzled expression and asked, "What?"
"Your butt, doesn't it hurt?"
"Yeah, it does..."
"Apply some medicine; it'll help."
With that, he led a confused Stephanie upstairs.
Seeing this, Marilyn finally breathed a sigh of relief. See, after spanking Steph, Sebastian started to worry about her.
Marilyn was okay playing the bad guy, but she couldn't let this incident affect their relationship.
But the things Steph did last night—she offended so many people—what on earth were they going to do?
Never mind; as long as Sebastian was willing to protect Steph, there was nothing to be afraid of.
So all Marilyn wanted was for the two of them to get along and understand each other.
She called out cheerfully to the stairs, "Sebastian, I'm heading to work now... I only took half a day off."
Sebastian replied, "Alright."
Marilyn tidied herself up, hopped into her red Audi, and drove to the office.
Now, she looked fashionable—back to her professional woman look.
Her colleagues thought she was a divorced mother, always talking about her daughter but never mentioning anything about a husband.
Everyone thought she was pretty decent, living in the company dormitory but driving an Audi. She was stylish and easy-going, so she got along well with her colleagues: some even became her close friends.
Sometimes after work, they would go out for meals or go to the beach.
Some even tried to set her up with a boyfriend, but she always declined, saying she enjoyed being single.
After a while, people stopped bringing it up.
After Marilyn left, Judith went out to buy groceries, leaving Sebastian and Stephanie alone at home.
"Are you afraid I'll take advantage of you?" Sebastian said it irritably.
"Not really. Compared to taking advantage, I take more from you, but..." Stephanie looked up at him silently and said, "I feel shy."
With that, her face turned red.
Sebastian helplessly said, "It's just applying medicine; what are you thinking?"
"Even putting on medicine makes me feel shy. Silver Fox, don't force me."
Sebastian calmly looked at her and said, "Alright... I won't force you, but can you tell me why you ran away last time?"
"Uh, why are you asking this all of a sudden?"
"Can't I ask?"
Stephanie felt like if she worried about something, it would happen!
She lowered her head guiltily and said, "I... was afraid Silver Fox would be angry."
