Maddie didn't quite grasp his words even when she reached her doorstep.

She didn't go in right away. Instead, she called Stephanie, asking what Putnam meant.

"Morning-after pill! Oh my god!" Mrs. Palmer also took a look, and couldn't help but exclaim, "Maddie, where on earth were you last night!? Were you taken advantage of?"

Mrs. Palmer felt sick to her stomach.

Maddie quickly explained, "No, I did this willingly."

"You foolish girl! Who did this to you! I'm going to make him pay!!"

"Dad, don't do this. I've already told you I did this willingly!"
