Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 622

"The Palmer family was built from scratch by Brian, with a pretty straightforward family tree, just three folks. The parents of the Palmer clan are really chill. Last time at their shindig, Sebastian announced that the Palmers are now under the protection of the Ingram family, so they're only going up from here."

Upon hearing this, Galloway asked, "Then there shouldn't be any issues. Maddie's a looker, right?"

Putnam replied, "She's alright."

"You’re going to keep an eye on the family genes."

All his three kids were quite eye candy, especially the youngest one. While he had no particular talent, he's quite a looker.

Only his daughter didn't quite hit the genetic lottery. She took after him a bit too much.

Those who took after his two wives now they're all tall and handsome.

Putnam thought his dad really knew how to run his mouth.

Back in his room, he lay on the bed, his mind a blank slate.

Embarrassing memories started to flood in.

Indeed, his getting plastered led to some stuff happening and he was the instigator.

Whatever.

The Palmer family wasn't high-status or anything, but they're a simple clan, no messy stuff, no major headaches.

The Palmer family.

After Mrs. Palmer hung up, she went to check on Maddie with a big smile on her face.

It's been a while since Maddie felt the love of her folks. They're always swamped with work.

Her mom fussed over her, gave her face a warm wash, and put some ointment on.

"Of course I'll give it to her! She's my only daughter!"

"That's more like it!"

Maddie smiled wryly, "You guys have already started discussing the wedding gifts. The Damon family might not even fancy me."

"Putnam said it this thing is definitely gonna happen!" Mrs. Palmer said with a broad grin.

Putnam was a well-known bachelor in high society. He's steady and reliable, and his word carried weight.

Since he said he's going to own up to it, it's almost a done deal.

The remaining issue was whether he can convince Galloway, who's a stickler for family interests.
