Sure enough, the heat between Sullivan and Stephanie hadn't totally died down. A bunch of rubberneckers were still keeping tabs on the whole drama.
Jaxon's fan base was growing at breakneck speed.
Later, Camille thought for a moment and decided to post a status update from Sebastian, along with her own badass caption. [Dude, can't even protect your own woman, what good are you?!]
After posting, Colton exclaimed, "Dude, you're getting ballsier! Aren't you afraid Sebastian will give you a piece of his mind when he gets back?"
"I posted it in the name of my grandfather. What's he gonna do, throw a tantrum at his grandpa?"
But Sebastian would eventually find out the truth!
After posting this, her follower count increased even faster than after the previous post.
Camille decided to go all in and posted Stephanie's post about obediently waiting for Sebastian to pick her up.
She added her own caption. [Little girl, can't you find your own way home? How long has it been since you visited me? What, received a gift and then forgot about me, right?]
After posting, Camille laughed her head off, feeling like a genius.
The onlookers were flabbergasted. This time, the scandal between Sullivan and Stephanie unexpectedly involved Sebastian, the president of Skyline Corporation. Then, the heirs of the four big families all stood up to voice their dissatisfaction. And now, even the long-retired patriarch of the Ingram family had thrown his hat in the ring.
And it seemed like he was pretty accepting of Stephanie marrying into the Ingram family.
Holy cow!!
This Stephanie was really someone the common folk couldn't afford to offend!
Unless she seriously screwed up, they really couldn't afford to mess with her.
Jaxon's followers really went from zero to a million.
Suddenly, Sebastian from the backseat spoke up, "Have we found out Sullivan's real identity?"
Martin answered hurriedly, "We're looking into it, but no reply yet. But we just received a text saying Sullivan's background is quite complicated; they will have to start from scratch, and it will take some time."
Sebastian said flatly, "Make sure to find out."
"Are you going to pick up Ms. Bishop? Otherwise, just drop me off on the side of the road. I can go home by myself."
Sebastian nodded, "Sure."
Martin's mouth twitched, thinking, “boss, could you be any less considerate? I've been running around with you the whole time. I used to get a ride home after business trips. But now, nothing was more important than picking up Ms. Bishop.”
Being dumped on the side of the road, Martin was on the verge of a breakdown.
