Stephanie nestled into his embrace, her voice muffled, "You mean after Grandpa's movie wraps up?"
"Yeah."
"I guess I'll go back to college, try to grind out some credits."
"And after that?"
"After that. I don't know, Gracie says I'm starting out too high. She's not sure what roles to pick for me anymore."
"I figured as much. Emmert's a big-shot director, known internationally. Any leading lady in his films is already A-list."
"But there are so many roles I haven't tried yet. I want to try them all."
"If you want to, then go ahead. Don't worry about anything else."
Stephanie lifted her head to look at him directly, "Would you talk to Gracie for me, Sebastian? She always feels like she's downgrading whatever she picks for me."
"Sure, I'll talk to her."
Stephanie wrapped her arms around Sebastian's neck immediately, nuzzling into his chest, "You're the best, Sebastian."
Sebastian chuckled, "When you're mad at me, I'm an old rascal? But when I help you, suddenly I'm the best?"
"You started picking on me first. It’s all your fault."
"My fault?"
"Yeah." She wasn't afraid of him at all now.
If she got annoyed, she'd lash out without a second thought.
Muffled against his chest, Stephanie complained, "It's your fault for spoiling me."
"Yeah, my bad."
"Then you can't stop liking me after spoiling me. If Sebastian doesn’t like me, then nobody will."
"There, there. That day will never come."
Besides, the girl had so many admirers, how could it be that no one would like her?
He seemed not to fear her being snatched away by someone else, but he still remained vigilant.
After all, there was a potential rival in the shadows, the man called Zachary Snider.
He was a ticking time bomb.
"Nope, let's grab some breakfast. Then I’ll take you to somewhere."
"What? We're going out?"
"Yeah."
"Then I'll finish quickly."
"No need to rush. Until two in the afternoon, I'm all yours."
Sebastian had it all planned out. He'd go to the office after two.
After breakfast, Sebastian drove them out.
"I'm taking you to see something special."
"But I've seen everything here!"
"There's something you haven't seen yet."
Curiosity and excitement danced in Stephanie's eyes as Sebastian led her into the castle.
