As Yolanda was about to speak up again, a few actresses pulled her aside and hissed, “Are you out of your mind? You know Sebastian’s got her back, right?”
“So what about Sebastian? A starlet who’s had her share of scandals, even had her dirty laundry aired for all to see, and she still thinks she’s all that?”
“If you’re looking to crash and burn, Yolanda, at least pick your moments,” Serena chimed in, her voice cool and detached.
“What’s that supposed to mean, Serena?”
“Ever heard what happened to Scarlett and Lyra? They got blacklisted.”
Yolanda frowned. “You’re telling me it’s because of that brat?”
“Not directly, but they provoked her right in front of Sebastian, got on her bad side, and the next day, the Palmer Group cut ties with them. No other company dared to sign them after that.”
Hearing this, the other actresses went pale.
Those rich heirs could really ruin their careers in an instant!
Two award-winning actresses, silenced with just a word.
Yolanda scowled. “So what, I’m not scared.”
She had her own financial backer.
“Fine, keep digging your own grave. We’ll keep our distance from her.”
The other actresses edged closer to Serena, indeed steering clear of Yolanda.
Fuming, Yolanda eventually calmed down and went off to munch on some snacks, keeping any further snide remarks to herself.
Meanwhile, Serena was eager to grab a photo with Sullivan.
Stephanie tentatively approached Sullivan and, to everyone’s surprise, he agreed without hesitation.
Rebecca had set her rules.
No women in his life, no flirting, not even standing too close.
And definitely no photos with other women that could leak out.
Sullivan’s wound, barely healed, began to itch once more.
It had been too long since Rebecca last reached out to him.
