The moment Damon confirmed, the Blood Altar pulsed again, violently this time. The entire hall began to tremble from power.
[Ding! You have spent 50,000 Reputation Points.]
The altar started sloshing and gurgling violently as if a whirlpool was forming within it. The next second, a wave of blood energy spread outward in all directions, covering the entirety of the city.
All the vampire NPCs stared in shock as they saw a system screen flash in front of them.

Gasps echoed across the chamber as one after another notifications started chiming in nonstop. The NPCs who had been groaning from their wounds stood straighter. The ones who had collapsed now rose, their eyes glowing a deep, primal red.
Muscles bulged, shadows clung to their figures like living things, and veins pulsed with new energy beneath death-pale skin. Even the weakest of the NPCs looked ready to tear through metal with their bare hands.
Outside the Blood Hall, across the ruined streets of Niera City, the change was instantaneous. The holy faction players who had been confidently advancing through the streets suddenly found themselves overwhelmed by vampiric NPCs who were moving faster, hitting harder, and fighting like berserkers.
Holy shields shattered. Formation lines crumbled. The purification raid that had once seemed like a sure victory now began to fracture.
And it was not just the NPCs, the dozen vampire players also received the same notifications, making them absolutely dumbfounded. They couldn’t even imagine how someone could have gathered so many reputation points to activate something monstrous like this.
They were all waiting for the quick loss of the blood hall, after which they would be heavily compensated and could even maybe settle for life, but now it looked like the battle was no longer close to ending any time soon.
Despite the rush of power within their bodies, they could only feel shitty as they watched the leaderboard change yet again.

At this point, someone from the group hesitantly spoke up. "Guys, Lucien is already dead and is waiting for respawn. Before he comes back, should we go out and get a couple of kills? I mean, it looks like everything is changing, and Blood Hall might win the siege. Shouldn’t we at least try to get some rewards from this side? I really don’t want to return empty-handed."
His presence was no longer just intimidating. It was predatory. The kind of presence that made even the most devout paladin falter in prayer.
