Chapter 237: Sacred Rune crafting

Damon did not have a lot of time to celebrate his unexpected bounty. Aurex already had a legendary item, which means the other top players of the super ten guilds probably had one or maybe even more than one.

This might not even be the true depth of the super ten’s power. It was one thing if they came out right and flaunted everything they had, but these guilds were sneaky. Their presence in the game was still not public, and yet their reach was already frightening.

Damon gritted his teeth and moved to the next target. There was no point in getting overwhelmed with things he had no control over. The odds were clearly stacked against him, but that was fine. He was also getting there bit by bit.

Damon’s eyes flicked over the new skill description, and a grin curved across his lips. He had actually managed to steal the one of the guy’s core class skills. A stream of knowledge about runes flowed in to his mind when he activated the skill but now was not the time to dwell on it.

His buff was going to run out any second now and before that he needed to take down a few more of the big shots in order to have any hope of winning this purification raid.

Damon once again dove back into the battle as he activated Flame Explosion. Immediately another round of players who had minor burn injuries became to explode left and right and take many down with them, giving the vampire side a much needed breather.

Setting up a base in hostile territory was not simple matter. The home base side would always have an overwhelming advantage and that was probably what that person counted on when he decided Damon couldn’t win this battle no matter what. He had set up everything counting on the light faction kingdom to take action.

However, that person’s game knowledge was severely lacking. Naturally, vampires were the minorites here but this was definitely not their entire strength. The battle will not be like this always. There is a tipping point for everything.

If the main clan of vampires saw that they finally had a fighting chance to get a foothold in the lightfaction lands, then everything would change. In his last life time someone had indeed managed to achieve something like this.
