Chapter 1052 Right before the bottle reached her, Josiah pulled Meredith into his arms.

With a loud thump, the bottle landed on Josiah‘s forehead and blood started running down his face. Seeing how she had got the wrong person and that Josiah was hurt instead, the lady was panic–stricken. Meredith only slowly came back to her senses when she noticed the blood that was dripping on the back of her hands.
