Never had Jane imagined that she would wake up to arrive at the place where her lover Noah had died.

‘No, is his body still here?’ she thought, as she stumbled toward the spot where Noah had fallen.

Before she could take off, Alex grabbed onto her arms and said, "slowdown. Don't injure yourself."

He supported her weight from behind gingerly, like he was offering his arms for a queen, she did not pay attention to a word he said and hurried over to the other side. The sound of someone wailing was heard even before they arrived and Jane noticed that it was her mother's voice.
