Chapter 1979
Her husband had worked very hard.
Sabrina suddenly broke out in tears. She was crying out of excitement and being overwhelmed by emotions. Malvolio felt that Sabrina was only crying because where she would be alive or dead was unknown, and so Malvolio was more and more convinced that the fight between Sebastian and Alex was absolutely true.
"Don't cry anymore. Don't ruin your health by crying anymore. You are now a pregnant mother. Think more for the child in your belly." Malvolio consoled Sabrina.
At that moment, Isadora appeared. " Malvolio, let me help Sabrina to the ship," said Isadora.
"Alright. Take good care of her and hold her gently." Malvolio was afraid that something bad might happen to Sabrina.
Isadora nodded. She helped Sabrina towards the boat one step after the other. " Sabrina, don't you love my brother?"
"Nonsense!"
"My brother is...really a good person" Isadora continued.
Sabrina was speechless, she wanted to curse. 'He is good? F*cking hell! He is a murderous maniac! How many women has he harmed? He is good? To hell with that!' However, on second thought, Isadora was Malvolio's sister, so Sabrina could not just run her mouth in front of Isadora.
Sabrina then sighed. "I know that your brother is a good person. However, I am a person with a husband and children. I am very conservative. I can't bring myself to marry my husband' s enemy when my husband is still not dead and I'm still carrying my husband's child. I just can't do it. Isadora, why don't you just kill me?"
"No, Sabrina, no! I can't kill you! You are my good friend. You have to stay strong and live. My brother will also be very good to you," Isadora immediately said.
Sabrina was speechless. She did not want to say anything else to this silly, violent, and pitiful girl. Sabrina only smiled miserably. " Just help me get on the ship first."
"Mm-hmm." Isadora was very obedient.
The ship sailed off not long after Sabrina had boarded the ship. It was actually not that far to get to South City from this island of Holden's. They had departed at almost six in the morning, and by nightfall, they were already approaching South City. During that time, Malvolio had been frequently receiving news coming from South City. The messages he received every time were very beneficial to him, so Malvolio's confidence grew even more each time.
The ship reached the shore and stopped. In the darkness of the night, the waters of South City appeared to be blurry. Malvolio was just about to give the order to not switch on the lights on the ship, to quietly and orderly disembark the ship, and then take a long drive directly to the Ford Residence to first get themselves the best head start. However, before Malvolio got to do all that, that big area of waters he was at suddenly was brightly lit.
"What's the matter? Who asked you to switch on the lights?" Malvolio scolded angrily.
Nobody answered Malvolio.
