Sally looked around. It was too early and it would be quite difficult to get a taxi.
“I’ll take you up on your offer, then.”
“Welcome aboard!” Kent quickly got out of the car, walked around it, and opened the door on the passenger’s side. “Have a seat.”
Sally smiled and glanced at him.
When he was in the car too, she asked, “How old are you?”
Kent said, “Probably about your age.”
Sally smiled helplessly. “Do you even know how old I am?”
“I do,” Kent said with a serious tone. “You’re pretty and kind, however. No matter how old you are, you’ll always look young.”
Sally laughed. “If you put your effort into wooing a girl, you’ll probably already have a girlfriend.”
Kent nodded. “Of course. Unfortunately, I’m no longer in the market for that. I currently only have eyes on one.”
Sally frowned. “Is the attraction not mutual?”
Kent felt like she had just figuratively stabbed him in the back.
He didn’t even manage to tell her about how he liked her, and she already concluded it was a one-sided affair.
“I’ve been there myself. As a friend, I want to tell you that it’s best to let it go and stop wasting your time and energy,” Sally said with a faint smile.
Kent looked away. “Alright, that’s enough. Let me take you to your destination first.”
Sally nodded. “I’m going to see Fia.”
Kent gave it a thought. “Midas Heights?”
“Yeah,” Sally replied.

The readers' comments on the novel: Stop It, She’s Remarrying (Fia and Conrad)
I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
