Before Eileen left, she closed the door for the two of them.
She knew that despite how calm Fia was presenting herself, she still loved Conrad deeply.

Conrad was stunned as if he was struck by a bolt of lightning. He thought that after he explained to her and showed her his sincerity, she would choose to forgive him with joy. That the two of them could return.
“You can’t continue on because of the baby?” he asked as his mind became muddled.
“Fia, what I mean is that once you’ve recovered, we can wait for another baby! We can have as many as you want!”

I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
