Mrs. Whitley continued, “That’s right. Don’t be a stranger.”
Fia bit her lips and said, “Can you prepare something more nutritious every day from now
on?”
The two of them were both stunned. “Are the two of you feeling sick?”
Fia quickly shook her head. “We’re both doing fine. I just want to get more nutrition for my body.”
She then looked outside the kitchen awkwardly and whispered, “You know, the type that helps with pregnancy.”
When she looked at Tyler’s two children, she felt like all the more she wanted her own
children.
“Of course! We’ll keep it in mind!” Mrs. Whitley said with a laugh.
Then, Mrs. Taylor said, “You can’t do it alone. Master Maxwell has to do it too.”
Fia then ran out of the kitchen and the mansion blushing.
When the bodyguards on patrol respectfully greeted and called her “madam”, she nodded with a smile. She then ran to the mansion next door to look for Mary and her twins.
“You’ve finished work, Mrs Maxwell!” Mary said as she opened the door. She smiled like a gentle, older sister when she saw her.
“Yes. Where’s Sharon and William?” Fia peered inside.
“They just finished school and I asked their nanny to wash their hands.”
“Then make it quick and come to my place!”
“Sure!” Mary held Fia’s hands and then looked at her carefully. “Is it tiring working at Mr. Maxwell’s company?”
Fia said with a smile as she narrowed her eyes. “It’s quite tiring, yes. But it’s also very fulfilling and happy!”
Mary hesitated and asked, “Did anyone bully you?”
“Of course, not. Conrad is very protective of me. He let me work in his office, so I don’t have to talk with anyone.”
“The two of you share an office?”
“Of course.”
“That’s so nice!” Mary said in relief. “Looks like Mr. Maxwell really does care about you.”
Fia nodded. “To be honest, he has treated me quite well since I was little.”
“You grew up together?”
“Not exactly.” Fia didn’t want to continue this topic. When she saw the Lanes’ nanny walking over with the two children, she quickly knelt and called the two children over to her.
“Come here and give your godmother a hug!”
Sharon and William ran into Fia’s arms, and she almost fell.
The two of them fought to hug her and kiss her face.
Fia let out a string of laughter from all the kisses.
The two adults and children walked into Conrad and Fia’s home hand-in-hand, with warm
smiles on their faces.

I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
