After apologizing, she did not say anything more and left her office.

Jason looked at Sally who sat at the front of her office. “Sally, Fia isn’t…”

Jason frowned deeper as she spoke, also understanding his own cruelty toward her.
“I will pay attention in the future.”
Sally looked at Jason miserably, and only felt things to be ridiculous.
Pay attention in the future? Fia always came first and he was always so great and selfless!
Jason added, “In the past, I didn’t think things through. I owe it to you. In the future, if you need any help, just let me know.” After he spoke, he turned around and left.
Sally’s tightly pursed lips slowly relaxed and a smile appeared, a smile that was even uglier than crying..
One sided love was the most hurtful.
“Fia, let me take you for a full body checkup,” Conrad said, chasing after Fla.
Fia replied, “No need. I’m perfectly fine.”
“You already fainted in the police station just now. It’s not a small matter!”
Hearing this, Fia turned toward Conrad and looked at him. “If I say that I fainted because she used an anesthetic fragrance on me, would you believe me?”
Conrad’s gaze flickered. “I believe you.”

She grabbed her hair, turned around, and strode out the hospital.
Conrad followed her in silence.

I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
