The two of them looked at each other.
Conrad’s gaze was complicated. He had more or less heard something.

“No way!” Conrad replied determinedly.
He absolutely could not let Fia meet Esme alone.
After Marcus’ treatment, Fia’s emotions had improved and she was also much happier.
He could not let everything go to waste!
“What if I insist?! Can you do anything to me?!” Fia was about to collapse internally as she pushed Conrad.
Conrad picked her up and said to Finn, “I’ll have to trouble you to continue with the interrogation. I will send the evidence later!”

In the passenger seat, Fia panted as she looked at Conrad who was getting in the car.

“As long as you’re happy, you can say whatever you want.” Conrad did not wish to fight with
her.

I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
