“Do you hate me because I destroyed you? Because you married me and lost him?”
Fia was speechless.
She didn’t know what he was thinking in that brain of his… The way he thought was beyond any ordinary person.
If he was a normal person, he would have known that she loved him!
Three years they slept on the same bed during their marriage… If he had a heart, he would have sensed her love for him!
Whatever. His love didn’t belong to her. He couldn’t have sensed it.
All she wanted to do was hide her love for him. Only then would she be able to stop herself from being humiliated that much!
“Speak!”
When Conrad thought of that possibility, he was so angry that he almost exploded.
He grabbed her by the mouth. “I told you to speak!”
Fia gritted her teeth and looked at him with a sneer. She didn’t want to say anything.
“Who’s the man?”
He asked in a low voice.
“Doctor Jason Evans?”
Fia frowned as she didn’t say a word, but all that did was anger him.
“I got it right? No wonder you would exchange glances like that and he cares for you that much!”
He held her mouth even tighter and said coldly, “You want to get back with your old love? Do you want to go and see him at the hospital every day? You regret every time that you think about our marriage?”
Fia frowned even deeper. Conrad was now like a madman that was losing control.
“Conrad, do you even know what you’re saying?” She couldn’t help but ask him in return.
“I’m wide awake!” Conrad let go of her mouth and then quickly grabbed her by the shoulders.
“What are you doing?!” Fia screamed out of surprise.
She never thought that he would do something like that.
He was still so furious a moment ago too! Was he crazy?

I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
