Silas frowned. “So… the boss sent you over to cause some mischief.”
Tiger retorted, “Don’t be ridiculous. Mr. Evans is the one who started provoking the boss.”
“Love makes one go mad!” Silas said as he patted Tiger’s shoulder. “So, what are you going to do? With her personality, she’s going to ask you about it later tonight!”
“I’ll just avoid her!” Tiger said while massaging his face. He was genuinely getting annoyed with this.
Silas asked, “How did he provoke our boss again?”
Tiger frowned. “I’m not exactly sure. Anyway, Sir put on a long face when he came into the office this afternoon and asked me to lead my men to his place.”
“He’s currently injured. You didn’t hurt him, did you?” Silas was somewhat worried that it would make Jason’s injuries even worse.
Not only would the police be suspicious of him, but things would also spin out of control if Fia found out about it.
Especially when she was being so protective right now.
“His mother suffered some injuries, so I had my men leave.”
“What kind of injuries?” Silas asked nervously. “It’s not anything serious, is it?”
Tiger looked at Silas coldly. “What does that have to do with you?”

I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
