Fia quickly defended her husband. “No, he just respects my decisions.”
“Right… I get it. You’re each other’s bae.” Tyler said proudly, “You see, Mary? You keep saying I don’t know any internet slang. Now I’ve just used one. Conrad, you’re your wife’s bae and she’s your bae!”
“What’s bae?” Conrad asked with a frown.
Silas hurried over to explain the slang to his boss, worried that he would make a fool of himself.
Finally learning the meaning of “bae”, Conrad took a glance at Fia. He did not think he was her “bae”. She never openly said that she loved him.
Still, he had fallen deeply for her.
During the feast, Conrad drank a lot of alcohol with Tyler. Every time he raised his glass, Conrad would take a glance at Fia, hoping that she would be worried and stop him from drinking. Yet, she did not.
After recovering her memory with hypnosis, Fia had been treating him very coldly.
“Tyler, can you not drink so much? Sharon’s getting sleepy so I need to bring her home to bed. I can’t sit here and keep an eye on you!”
“Oh, don’t fret! Mrs. Maxwell’s here. I won’t be drinking much.”
Seeing that Fia had seen Mary and Sharon off, Sophia quietly approached her and asked, “Why didn’t you stop Sir from drinking?”
“It’s been a while since he last had alcohol. Don’t worry. He knows his own limit.” Fia raised her head and looked at the night sky. “There are so many stars tonight.”
Sophia raised her head and looked at the sky too. “I’ve seen a night sky that’s even prettier than this. It had a lot of stars and they’re shinier than these ones.”
“Where did you see it?” Fia asked curiously.
“At Hellish Training Camp.”
“…”

The readers' comments on the novel: Stop It, She’s Remarrying (Fia and Conrad)
I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
