Chapter 772 The confrontation.
Just when the grass sprouted, Jamie and Skylar's wedding was held as scheduled.
August appeared at the wedding in a pure black suit, and Lucia was tidying up his necktie.

Skylar, who was about to enter the ceremony hall, looked at the appearance of two people, rolled her eyes, and blurted out, "Today is my wedding day. You two are sure lovey-dovey. A gorgeous woman and an attractive man. Other than us, you two appear to be a married couple"
Lucia tidied up August's tie and urged him to perform his own business. Then she turned around and replied, "If you still don't go in now, maybe Jamie can't stand the loneliness anymore and hook up with the beautiful sister at the wedding scene."
"How dare he!" Skylar frowned at the words.
The wedding song slowly sounded. The pure white gold-encrusted gate was slowly pushed open. Skylar immediately straightened her
back and made a slow approach to the carpet. Jamie reached out and clasped her hand in his. The two then took coordinated steps to the center of the stage.
While Lucia was quietly looking at this scene, a smile landed on her face. Unconsciously, the scene when she was marrying August came to her mind.
She couldn't help but cast sidelong glances at August in the distance. A familiar voice full of surprises suddenly rang in her ear as she was going to stroll over to August.
"Lucia? It's really you!" Edmund walked over to her with a red wine glass and elegant pace, his eyes were filled with unmistakable joy. Lucia was slightly dazed. Her face also showed an incredible expression,
"Why are you here?"
"There is work contact between Mr. Nordhaus and me. Naturally, I should come and give him a hand when he finds a lover." Edmund explained in a soft voice.
"Work contact?" Lucia kept a nice smile on her face and asked, "By the way, may I ask where you work?"
Edmund didn't keep it a secret. He raised his glass and responded, "A public servant in Austos City. It's not a rich or notable profession.
It happened that some documents of Mr. Nordhaus had to be submitted to the audit authority, so we got to know each other."
A trace of surprise flashed through Lucia's eyes. Paula's words suddenly came up to her mind.

Mr. Shea
Mr. Shea, one of the two giants of Austos City!
Just standing before me?!
Lucia secretly muttered in her heart that all people could not be judged by their appearances.
Edmund appeared refined and courteous. Lucia thought he was from a scholarly family or engaged in literary and artistic work.
Unexpectedly, he turned out to be an iron-and-blood head.
Edmund didn't give much attention to what she was pondering. Instead, he looked at her with a light smile and said slowly, "It seems that you are also a good friend of Mr. and Ms. Nordhaus, Bridesmaid is quite a hard errand."
The admiration in Edmund's eyes was undisguised, "It's a nice dress, but it doesn't suit you."
Lucia cast her gaze down at her costume. The high-heeled sandals and the short pink bridesmaid dress complemented the wedding decor without becoming flashy. In no way did it overshadow the bride. What was wrong with it?
