Chapter 775 Don't accept the deal
"It is not a spy on you. I'm your father." Andrew smirked unpleasantly and responded with a cold voice, "What if I spy on you? It is a matter of course."
"Shame on you..." Paul glared at him with clenched teeth.
Andrew's face instantly darkened. He appeared to remember something just before raising his hand to slam it in Paul's face, and then gradually lowered his raised hand.
"This good-for-nothing is the only daughter of Howe Real Estate, anyway. I would attempt to avoid upsetting her. I asked her to come over just to make a deal with you." He looked at Paul coldly.
Paul kept as calm as he could. He held Daryl tightly in his arms, and looked at Andrew warily, "I despise your heinous methods, and I will not assist you, let alone allow you to harm Daryl."
When Daryl heard this, her eyes flashed with consternation. Her fingertips tightened subconsciously and grasped Paul's arm. Andrew quickly waved his hand at the words, "I don't need your help. On the contrary, I really hope Daryl can be my daughter-in-law..." With a sinister expression on his face, Andrew said in a low voice, "I just need you to manage the company, so long as you keep your nose out of what Currer and I are up to."
"Paul..." Daryl's weak voice slowly sounded, reminding him softly, "Don't promise him. He doesn't dare to do anything to me. We can't let him hurt Lucia..."
Paul's eyes flashed with a hint of hesitation as if he was stuck for a decision.
Although Daryl spoke in a very low voice, her words reached Andrew's ears. Andrew's face suddenly darkened and the butler beside him immediately got it and motioned for the bodyguard to drag Daryl aside.
The bodyguard dragged Daryl, who was frail all over, to Andrew's side in a forceful manner, "If I truly do something to Howe Real Estate, then you won't be of any value to the Thomas family," Andrew sternly threatened as he suddenly pinched Daryl's chin.
Daryl glared at him with scorching eyes, "You dare!"
"Don't challenge my bottom line. Think about whether your elderly father can still withstand the blow of bankruptcy." Andrew laughed scornfully. The strength of his fingertips increased, severely pinching her jaw.
Daryl snorted in pain, closed her eyes in pain, and bit her lower lip.
Paul's expression instantly changed. He hurried to bring her to his side. However, he only made it two steps before being restrained by a bodyguard.
During his struggle, Andrew's unpleasant smirk sounded again, "As long as you promise to keep your nose out of Lucia's business, I promise not to defend Zoey or embarrass Miss Davenport. It's a good deal for you."

Paul's eyes softly settled on Daryl, taking in her agonizing appearance, and finally nodded hesitantly. He replied icily, "I can accept the deal, but you must ensure Howe Real Estate has a trouble-free journey."
"Deal."
Andrew tossed Daryl off with a triumphant expression. The bodyguard followed Andrew and let go of Daryl, leaving her to collapse to the ground with her weary feet.
Paul took several steps forward and held her in his arms, looking at Andrew with awe-inspiring eyes, "Don't forget what you promised
Andrew waved his hand with satisfaction, indicating that Paul could leave.
Daryl grabbed the cloth in front of Paul's chest nervously with her pale face full of anxiety, "Paul, please don't accept the deal." Lucia was a nice girl. After going through so much, she was finally able to lead a steady and contented life for a few days. She shouldn't have to endure such a lot again.
Paul pressed his lips and remained silent, holding Daryl to the door. Andrew's bitter voice slowly sounded behind him, "You'd better get this woman to behave herself, or I can't guarantee her safety."
He paused and responded in the same indifferent voice, "You should mind your own business first, father."
