Chapter 969 Crossing the Line
Paul had lost his patience, but Zoey continued to say annoying words.
"Paul, you've already married me. Don't think about that b*tch anymore. I am much better than her!"
"Enough!" Paul said angrily and slammed his fist on the door frame. Soon, blood gushed out of his slender fingers.
His face looked so sullen as if he were going to devour her alive.
Paul barely gets angry, so Zoey dared to be so arrogant in front of him.
It was the first time she had seen him fly into a rage, so she froze in situ.
Paul looked at her with a cold look and said, "Zoey, I should not have indulged you so much."
He did not like her. So, he had turned a blind eye every time she had made a scene in front of him in the past.
But this time, she had crossed the line.
He wouldn't allow anyone to curse Daryl.
Seeing his furious face, Zoey felt a little scared.
But when she thought of Daryl, she got bold again.
So, she mocked with a sneer, "Do you want to hit me? I like cursing her. What can you do about it?"
Seeing him remain silent with a gloomy face, Zoey got triumphant.
She knew he would not hit her.
A murderous look flashed across Paul's face.
His upbringing did not allow him to hit women.
However, he would not let Zoey get away with it either.
So, he smiled coldly, turned around, and left.
Zoey had stepped into this place, so he would never come again.
Seeing him leaving, Zoey stomped in anger, but she could do nothing about it.
