At seven in the evening, Charlie noticed that Nancy was still lying on the sofa. Shaking his head gently, he picked up the phone to order dinner.
Half an hour later, the waiter brought their meals. Charlie approached Nancy, gently nudged her arm and said, "Nan..."
Nancy initially ignored him, but a grumble from her stomach betrayed her. Charlie chuckled softly, grabbed her arm, and forcibly pulled her up from the sofa.
"No matter what's on your mind, you can't skip meals."
He led her to the dining table and gently sat her down, "I ordered your favorites, let's eat."
"Thanks."
Nancy picked up her fork and placed a piece of her favorite salmon into her mouth. As she chewed, her cheeks puffed out like a pufferfish, bringing a delighted smile to Charlie's face.
"Regardless of what's making you unhappy, eating is a priority in life. Tell me what you want to eat tomorrow, and I'll have it delivered to the set."
Nancy looked up at him, blinking, "Aren't you going home?"
"Why would I go home?"
Charlie glanced at her, placing a piece of shrimp into her bowl, "I can handle my work from here."
Nancy suddenly found the salmon less appetizing.
He was staying here all this time, probably for Vivian, right?
But that man from today would surely come looking for her, or Vivian. If Charlie saw that, wouldn't he be heartbroken?
With this thought, she quickly cautiously looked at him, "Charlie, can I ask you a question?"
Charlie arched an eyebrow, "Sure."
