Substitute Bride and Her Husband Who Disappeared novel Chapter 132

Nancy looked at Charlie, feeling inexplicably reassured by his words.

That sense of comfort, the inexplicable trust, had been there since the day he had held her in his arms in the heavy rain.

Wiping the tears from her face, Nancy nodded firmly, "Okay, I trust you."

Charlie let out a sigh of relief. Once Nancy was consoled, everything else would be easier to handle.

"Tom, to the mall."

Without a word, Tom Adams made a U-turn and headed towards the busiest street in City Hando.

Just as Charlie finished buying clothes for Nancy, his phone rang.

He pulled it out, a smirk playing on his lips as he glanced at the caller ID.

As he brought the phone to his ear, the ingratiating voice of the producer rang out, "Young Master Firth, where are you now? Is it convenient to talk?"

Charlie slipped his other hand into his pocket, his voice cold. "Speak."

"Well... I am thinking, after today's exhausting shoot, I'd like to invite the main cast for dinner. Will it be convenient for you to join us?"

Charlie glanced at Nancy, who was already on her tiptoes, eavesdropping on their conversation. Seeing him look her way, she nodded eagerly.

Convenient!

It couldn't be more convenient!

Even if it wasn't, she would make it convenient!

Seeing her anxious eyes, and thinking of her as cute as a wronged little bunny, Charlie couldn't help but chuckle, "Vivi might not find it convenient."
