Nancy frowned, unsure why Daniel suddenly brought up this matter. After thinking for a moment, she nodded, "Yes."
Daniel sneered and chuckled softly, "Although you are now married to Young Master Firth and lack nothing, it wouldn't be fair for you to let others benefit from what is yours, right?"
Those words struck a chord with Nancy.
Honestly, she didn't simply dislike Vivian. She even held some resentment towards her.
Nancy fell silent, and Daniel continued, "Ms. Dench calls the shots in the Mirren Family. I remember the engagement gifts from the Firth Family were all given to her. As for whether she gave any to Vivian, I'm not sure."
Lily's heart skipped a beat and she instinctively spoke up, "No! How could I give them to her? She spends money quickly. If I didn't keep them, she would have squandered it within two years!"
Daniel just smiled and remained silent, but his gaze towards Nancy became more playful.
Nancy realized what he meant, nodded, and stared into Lily's face. "Mom, since I married Charlie, shouldn't you give me the engagement gifts from the Firth Family?"
"Huh?"
Lily froze as she covered her face. She had only wanted to distance herself from Vivian in front of them, but she didn't expect Nancy to actually ask her for the engagement gifts.
Just as she was about to assume her role as a mother, Samuel gave her a fierce glare, and she could only obey him.
After hesitating for a moment, she whispered, "Nan, you haven't graduated yet. It's not appropriate for you to have so much money..."
"I'll graduate soon."
Nancy interrupted her directly, "Mom, I'm not Vivian. I've struggled since I was young. If you give me the engagement gifts, I'll keep them safe."
