Henry remained silent.
For the past three years, he had always hated himself for not being strong enough to protect Nancy and Noah. That was why he studied hard, excelled in every subject, and became known as a genius.
He always had a goal in his heart and he was working hard to achieve it, but he felt... his growth was still too slow.
"Nancy..."
His voice was deep but filled with absolute confidence and determination. "Give me two more years. After two years, I will definitely help you escape from Charlie. I will never let anyone bully you again."
Hearing him say this, Nancy felt relieved. Men could grow only when they faced pressure.
"Henry, I don't expect you to do anything for me. I just hope that you can become stronger. I can deal with Charlie on my own."
Suddenly, Henry shouted, "Nancy..."
"Henry, Charlie and I are already married. I am now Mrs. Firth!"
Nancy's words stunned Henry!
Nancy hadn't told Henry about her marriage, partly because she was afraid he would worry, and partly because she was afraid he would act impulsively.
But tonight, Nancy saw clearly what was in her heart and was determined to stay by Charlie's side. It wasn't because Charlie gave her nine billion every month, but because...
Nancy could feel Charlie's sincere feelings for her.
But Henry seemed to have gone mad and suddenly roared, "Nancy! Do you know what you're doing? To those wealthy men, women are just playthings! There are countless women around them! Maybe Charlie treats you well now, but what if he gets tired of you one day? Or what if you disappoint him?"
