Rachel stared at Hiram. She recalled so much about the last incident. Hiram got hurt and it was because of her. She was so guilty that she kept blaming herself. She was in a mess. How could she simply forget and easily lie about it?

Rachel pulled herself out of Hiram's arms. She lifted her head and asked Hiram. "Gavin wants to see you?"

"Don't worry sweetie. Let me meet him and see what he wants. You stay here and pack up our stuff so when I come back, we could just head back home." Hiram said to her gently. Then he picked up his cell phone on the bedside table and carefully walked out of the private ward.

At the hospital hallway adjacent to Hiram's private ward, Gavin was standing in front of a window with his hands on his waist. When he noticed Hiram approaching, Gavin turned around and gazed at Hiram. "You look good.

I can deal with the work in the company. You don't need to worry about it. Just stay at home and have a good rest."

Gavin and Hiram sat on the hallway sofa. Gavin stared at the closed door of the private ward. He hesitated and took a long pause, then he managed to ask.

"Hiram, is it true that according to your prenuptial agreement, Rachel could take away half of the Rong family's fortune if you two get divorced?"

Hiram took a cup of hot tea from the side table and took a sip. His black eyes looked at Gavin, who was sitting directly across him. "Why would you ask me that, dad?"

"Why would I ask you? Hiram, you've always been calm and thorough. I never worry about you. It's just that… why are you becoming such an idiot when you're with Rachel?"

Gavin inquired and sighed deeply.
