Super CEO Daddy And His Baby Triplets novel Chapter 54

Chapter 54 The Ultimate Move

"Please take a seat, guys. It's time for breakfast."

Jocelyn carefully placed each child's plate in front of them after they were seated at the table.

Calvin had never tried anything Jocelyn had cooked before. He stared at his food with judgy eyes for a long time before beginning to eat it.

Jocelyn, who was standing next to him, couldn't take it anymore. She persuaded him, "Mr. Austin, please try it. Do you like the food I made? I know it looks like a disaster, but it might taste good!"

"Can humans eat this?"

Calvin was a picky eater who valued the appearance of his food. The sight of the shattered omelet on the plate turned him off from eating it.

He suspected she had no idea that the appearance of food directly impacted the appetite of the person eating it.

Jocelyn found what he said strange.

She had always been a good cook, but she accidentally poked the omelet by mistake. She felt it was unreasonable for him to be so picky, even though the omelet didn't look appealing.

Cooking meals for Calvin was a challenging task for her.

Although Calvin was fussy, the children showed enthusiasm for the breakfast.

"My mommy makes the best breakfast in the world!" Jeffrey exclaimed as he wolfed down his food.

Jocelyn couldn't stop laughing as she appreciated her son standing up for her.

Tammy was Jocelyn's biggest fan, so she genuinely loved everything she cooked. As she dug into her meal, Tammy said, "All the things my mommy makes are delicious! I love it! It tastes so good!"

Sean decided to join Tammy and Jeffrey after seeing how much they relished their food. His eyes widened when he tasted the omelet because he thought it tasted fantastic.

Jocelyn winked at Calvin to show him that her cooking was a hit with the three kids. "Look at Tammy, Jeffrey, and Sean! They all like my omelet! That must mean that it's not so bad, right? Why not give it a shot?"

Calvin remained silent. But, after a brief pause, he picked up his knife and fork because he was curious how it tasted.

He took a bite of the omelet. "It doesn't look so good, but it tastes really well." He thought to himself.

Jocelyn stared at him as he ate it and asked, "How's that? Does it taste good?"

"It's just average!" He said.

No matter how perfect it was, he wouldn't tell the truth because he didn't want her to know how much he enjoyed her cooking.

"Why do you say it's average when the kids say it's delicious? You seem to have unrealistic expectations for your breakfast." Jocelyn thought to herself.

"Let me try some," Beatrice said as she approached the table.

After trying the omelet she made, Beatrice was impressed with Jocelyn's cooking skills. "Wow, it tastes so great! It's absolutely delicious!"

"Really? That's wonderful! You can eat as much as you want!" Jocelyn said as she served the children more omelets.

Calvin was in a much better mood after having delicious omelets for breakfast. He casually wiped the corners of his mouth and got up from the table after he threw away his napkin.

Jocelyn immediately caught up with him and asked with expectation, "Mr. Austin, can I go out today?"

Calvin didn't respond, instead simply looking at her. Jocelyn shook her arm to prove she was cured and said, "Look, I'm fine now! I'm feeling so great today! Believe me!"

Calvin was in a good mood and was relieved that she hadn't gotten him into any more trouble. As a result, he said, "Yes, but Marcus has to follow you."

"Great! Thanks! Bye!"

After Jocelyn left the house, Jeffrey and Sean began to fight over who Tammy should play with.

Jeffrey couldn't stand the thought of his sister spending so much time with Sean. He brought her to their side and said, "Tammy, I'm your brother. You can't always hang out with Sean!"

"Why? But Mommy told me I should spend more time with Sean!"

Tammy did it not only because she liked to follow her mother's instructions but also because she really liked Sean.

"Mommy didn't mean that. You need to remember that you are my sister, not his. Why don't you come with me to the inflatable castle? Let's have fun together!"

Jeffrey cast a glance at Sean, who was standing nearby in silence.

Sean did nothing but stand there looking enviously at them. He knew Jeffrey and Tammy were brothers and sisters born to the same mother. However, he could never be Tammy's brother since his mother was not Jocelyn.

"But Sean is so lonely on his own! He doesn't have anyone to play with."

Tammy turned back to look at Sean. She felt sorry for Sean whenever she saw him because he didn't have a mother and had trouble communicating with others.

"If you be with him all the time, I'll have to be alone! I'll be pathetic too!" Jeffrey began to act pitifully to win Tammy over.

"The three of us can hang out together," Tammy said innocently, blinking her big eyes.

Jeffrey scowled and folded his arms in annoyance. "Hmph, I'm not playing with him."

"Well, I guess I'll go painting with Sean."

Tammy finally chose to be with Sean. When Jeffrey realized she was leaving, he pulled out his ultimate trick.
