Mya rushed downstairs in her slippers and her pajamas.

She had been upstairs watching Finnley and didn’t want him to wait for her for too long. He must be tired from all those work just now.

In the living room, Mya stopped when she was called and noticed her mother sitting on the sofa. Shirley looked serious and stared at her.

"Mom, you didn't go out?" Mya’s heart skipped a beat.
