Leo quickly handed a tissue to his aunt, trying to lighten the mood with a grin, "Come on, what are you two doing? It's just graduation, not the end of the world! We're family, Molly. Unless we're reincarnated into strangers, nothing's changing. And Mia, you're part of the Cedillo family now; we're all in this together. Seriously, snap out of it, my lovely aunts!"
There's that saying about new moms being a bit scatterbrained for three years, right? Well, these two hadn’t quite hit that three-year mark.
The emotional vibe had them convinced that graduation meant they'd never see each other again.
"Hey, family, we're bound by more than just today. We're in this for life!" Leo declared, hoping to break through their teary haze.
Mia, wiping her tears with her sleeve, looked at her sister, "Molly, he's got a point."
Molly, sniffling, nodded in agreement, "Yeah, he does."
"But it still feels so sad."
"Yeah, same here."
Graduation day had everyone a little misty-eyed.
For some, this goodbye might really be the last.
As they stepped out of the school gates, paths diverged, setting everyone on their own journey.
Leo walked out with his tear-streaked aunts, while their husbands stood at the door, puzzled by the emotional scene.
Little Henry, with his chubby cheeks, was bewildered—what could possibly make his fierce mom cry?
Did Dad give Mom a spanking or something?
