Leo stepped out, pausing outside a shop to answer a call, "Hey, Chunky, what's the scoop?"
"Leo, this Greg is something else. It took the three of us all afternoon just to breach his firewall. No wonder he's ranked second nationwide; the guy's got serious skills."
Leo scratched his head, "So, what's the deal with him?"
"Leo, he's about to join Andre's team. We're not crossing any lines here, are we? Andre's not someone we want to upset. You know who Andre is, right?"
Andre's own nephew: "...Yeah, I know who Andre is. Thanks, Chunky. Make sure to thank the other guys for me too."
"No worries."
After hanging up, Leo's eyes narrowed, a hint of determination in his gaze.
He returned to the restaurant, bringing an abrupt end to Anya and Tony's conversation.
Leo asked, "So, whose autograph did my niece ask you for?"
"Sean White."
His niece: "..."
Leo put down his fork and turned around, "What, trying to make us uncle and nephew fight over the same celebrity crush?"
Anya stammered, "Uh, little Chad, just pretend I'm asking for your aunt, okay?"
Leo: "Even if she had ten times the nerve, she wouldn't dare ask now."
Back when she was head over heels for Sean White, her husband had a lot to say about it. Now, she wouldn't even dare think about it.
Anya pouted, frustrated, "It's not just unfair, but also so petty."
Leo: "...I can hear you."
After dinner, they said their goodbyes at the door.
Leo headed straight home with Anya, which made her curious. Usually, her boyfriend would take her for a wander around.
