Mars shrugged it off. "What's the rush? If you can't wait for me, why not just have another kid with Mom? Hansen had a daughter in his fifties; I bet you could too... Ah."
Roberto smacked the back of his son's head, his hand shaking with anger. "How can you, with that straight face, say such outrageous things? Every day you're envious of Andre's son, and now they're expecting their second kid while you're still drifting through life."
Mars wasn't happy about it. "Well, Andre didn't want to get married at first either. It was his dad who pushed him into it with all those setups."
"Oh, so now you're saying I haven't set you up? Mars, I'll do it right now."
"Dad, dad, no, no need," Mars quickly cut in, standing up. "Dad, I'll go out and find you a daughter-in-law right now. Goodnight, Mom, goodnight, Dad."
With that, he bolted out the door.
Once outside, Mars whipped out his phone, mulling over, "Who was it that just chewed me out?"
Over in the suburbs, Greg had fainted but came to two hours later.
Kon was sitting there, waiting for updates. "Greg, who managed to break into your system?"
Greg shook his head. "No idea. It wasn't just one person. When I traced it, it seemed like a whole crew."
"Was it Andre's crew?" Kon pressed on.
Greg thought for a moment and shook his head again. "Probably not. Havenbrook's got loads of skilled folks forming their own little cliques. Andre's crew are all trained pros; they wouldn't take on random gigs. Besides, I think I might've just been showing off too much. In this field, everyone's got an ego, probably wanted to test my limits, so you got worried."
Kon frowned, realizing Greg might be onto something. "So, how did Andre find out your defenses were down?"
After a playful jab at his son, Andre opened the sweetie bottle, added water and formula, gave it a shake, and handed one to each of his wife and son.
Henry took a couple of sips from his bottle, then eyed his mom's sweetened water.
Holding his own little bottle, he ran after his mom. "Mom, mommy, baby wants to drink."
Mia glanced at her husband heading back to grab the car keys to take her to school, then sneakily opened her bottle, crouched down, and let her son have a taste. "Here, baby, drink! Is it good?"
Henry, being clever, handed his sweetie cup to his mom and snuck a sip from her water bottle.
"Ah-hem!" Andre's clear cough snapped both mom and son back to attention, and their bottles quickly returned to their rightful places.
