Jamie hugged Henry with a big smile, "Yep, that's Aunt Viv!"
Michael gently held Henry's tiny hand and asked, "Hey buddy, do you know who I am?"
It was Henry's birthday, and since his uncle Cooper was holding him up high, he also spotted Michael. Cooper, being the memorable uncle he was, said, "Aren't you the guy who stopped me and my nephew at the amusement park?"
Cooper had taken his nephew to the amusement park for a fun day out, but they had a run-in with Michael, which led to a bit of a misunderstanding. That's why both of them remembered that encounter so well.
"After that, I kept hoping to see you bring the little guy back to the park, but it never happened." Michael would often send links to the wealthy heiress: Experts say enriching a child’s experiences is fantastic for their growth and well-being.
Wealthy heiress: My boy’s childhood is plenty “enriched.” He’s never missed out on anything.
Michael sent another link: New amusement park deal, buy two tickets, get one free. Perfect for family fun during the holidays.
Wealthy heiress: I’ve never been one to chase discounts.
Michael didn’t give up: Studying can be such a drag; why not hit the amusement park to blow off some steam? And bring your son along, thanks.
Wealthy heiress: Thanks for the offer. Bringing him wouldn’t ease my stress; it’d just add to it.
...
After several tries, Michael was once again waiting for Henry.
Then Mia sent him a message with a time and place, "The little one you want to see is turning two. Come by my place to celebrate."
Conner, acting all innocent, asked, "Asher, what did you see that made you say your sight's perfectly fine all of a sudden?"
Asher pointed at Conner's cheeky grin, "You having a face was just a waste."
Conner, holding Annie like a bandit, as she struggled to break free, said, "Asher, given our twenty-year brotherhood, how about this? Annie and I will have a couple more kids and give you one, so you won’t be alone in your old age. Brothers should have each other’s backs."
Asher, pointing at Conner's irritating face, asked Annie, who was holding back her temper, "Annie, why didn't you knock out a few of his teeth back then, so he'd have a whistle when he talks?"
Annie: "Thanks for the tip, I’ll make sure to succeed next time."
Mars, carrying Wayne, drifted over, "Conner, come check out our god-sister's little guy. I gotta say, this kid isn't as chubby as ours, so he's easier on the arms. Super comfy to hold."
