"Daddy! Daddy!"
Chad planted a kiss on his son's cheek, feeling no more envy towards Andre. He now had his own little one who kept calling him "daddy" with every breath.
As they hit the road again, Coleen sat upfront, helping her husband navigate.
In the middle row, the small family trio sat comfortably, with Chad unable to take his eyes off his son's adorable face. The nap they had earlier had left them all wide awake.
In the back, Grandma Aubrey and Grandpa Elmer were playfully teasing Wayne, saying, "How about a little song for great-grandpa?"
They finally got home at 2 AM, with Wayne asleep again in his mom's arms.
The Byrne family had just about finished unpacking, while the Cedillo family was taking their sweet time.
Andre had wrapped up his tasks, signaling the start of the holiday for the Cedillo Group.
Lately, Mia and her son had been staying with the Cedillo family.
Hansen was always eager to see his grandson but never quite adapted to life at Maplewood Estates. So, the family of three moved in to keep the elders company.
Yet, once they settled in, Hansen found his grandson a bit too lively. "Now, be a good boy, don't touch that! It's grandpa's lucky bamboo. No shaking!"
Mia walked over and gave her son a gentle tap on the bottom. "Let go, you can't play with grandpa's bamboo."
Henry pouted, but he finally let go of the bamboo.
Mia picked him up, asking her dad, "So, what’s the deal with this bamboo?"
"Haha, you’ve got a lot to learn! Bamboo in the yard brings obedient sons. The feng shui of this place was picked by a top-notch master," Hansen boasted proudly.
Mia hugged her son tighter, teasing, "Dad, you sure you weren't scammed?"
Hansen: "......"
Henry chimed in, "Scam, scam!"
