"Chad, when did you find out?" Leo asked, reflecting on the time he'd fibbed to his girlfriend. Suddenly, he had a flash of understanding about why his uncle and partner had spun tales while pursuing their wives last year.
"Just now," he mumbled.
Marla and Mia, the ever-present mischief-makers, chimed in, "Come on, Leo, didn't your brother call you two days ago about this?"
Leo just sighed.
As Anya was gearing up to land a playful punch, Andre's voice boomed through the airport, "Henry, get down from there! Do you want to lose your behind?"
All eyes darted to Henry, who was off on his own, inspecting the massive plane.
Henry stood there, staring up at the giant aircraft, his mouth forming a perfect "o" of awe. He had scrambled up some inspection stairs that had no handrails, looking every bit like he might tumble down at any second.
Andre rushed to scoop him up, but not before another figure darted in. "Hey, buddy, what do you think you're doing?" The kid's uncle, ever the guardian angel, had swooped in.
With his uncle there, Henry didn't get to walk anymore. Even getting on the plane meant being carried in his uncle's arms.
The place was buzzing with people, so no one felt left out. Everyone seemed to find their own little crew.
Andre and Chad managed the whole ordeal, and once everything was sorted, they closed the plane's door.
Inside, the cabin was decked out with lounges, a tea room, and even an entertainment area…
This was Henry's first experience on such a fancy plane, and he was off on his little adventures, scurrying around like he owned the place.
Before long, Henry's wails echoed from the back. The parents stayed put, unfazed. Molly nudged, "Hey, Mia, your kid's crying."
Molly's son, Wayne, craned his neck, curious about his brother's antics.
Mia shrugged, "Relax, there's no way my husband and I can squeeze through to the front."
