Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 299

Mia shot a glance at the cunning Hansen, "All you do is huff and puff. If you're not scared of Andre, why are you always under his thumb? Don't try to stir the pot between us. Andre and I are on good terms now, so I won't buy what you're selling."

Hansen, riled up, and stood up. Mia did too, pointing at his foot, "Dad, cool your jets. You just got out of the hospital not long ago. Don't go twisting your foot again."

After her reminder, Hansen did indeed cool down. He wanted to tattle to Naomi about Mia picking on him, but then he remembered he was the one who got her goat first. Not only did he fail, but he also ended up hopping mad. He felt like he lost his face, which only made Hansen angrier.

"Just pack your bags and leave." Hansen said.

Mia replied, "So mad you could spit, now you're giving me the boot."

Just then, Mia's phone rang. She glanced at the screen, then quietly left the living room with her phone.

Hansen watched Mia's retreating figure curiously, "Why did Mia need to take her call in another room? What could she be talking about?"

Half an hour later, the three of them emerged from the study.

Chad said, "I'm up to speed on everything. Molly's problem is my problem. We will investigate the Marshal family, and the person pulling the Marshal family's strings will also be caught."

He went downstairs to see Molly already changed. He reached out his hand and Molly willingly gave him hers. She said to her family, "Guys, I'm heading out. Andre, tell Mia we'll see each other when school starts."

In a corner, Leo thought, "Why can't she see me?"

After seeing Chad and Molly off, the Cedillo family all returned to the living room.

Andre asked Hansen, "Dad, where's Mia?" He had asked Mia to stay downstairs with his father. Where did she go?

Hansen, still steaming, said, "Andre, didn't you want to move out? Take this infuriating Mia with you."

Naomi let out a resigned laugh. Her home used to be cold, lifeless. But now, it was too lively.

Three children in the house, each one a handful. These kids kept her on her toes all day.

Andre chuckled softly. It seemed his beloved wife had upset someone again. She was really fair; she knew how to push everyone's buttons.

"Where is she now?" Andre asked.

Hansen pointed to the backyard, "She took a call and snuck off. She must have made plans with her friends and didn't want me to hear in case I tell you."

Andre walked to the backyard with a smile.

Mia was sitting on a bench, hunched over from the cold, talking on the phone. "No, Cooper, you should focus on your studies abroad. What are you talking about?"

Cooper's voice came through, "You managed to get into Havenbrook University by guessing on your exams, why can't I? I'm smarter and more socially adept than you. If I come back to study, not only would you be my sister, we might even be classmates."

Mia said seriously, "Why would you come back? Our parents sent you abroad in the hope that you could settle down there. You've been living there for three years, you should be used to it. If you come back, you'd have to readjust. Even though you're smart and socially adept, you'll still face a lot of competition here. I might not be the best sister, but I'd never do anything to harm you."

Cooper said, "I have nothing to say to someone like you."

"Do you think I can't get you because you're abroad?" Mia asked.

They were arguing when Andre came over. He had heard their conversation and had a rough idea of what was going on. As the CEO of the Cedillo Group, he had been married for half a year but had never met Cooper. He was curious about Cooper, who he had never met, and wondered if he was satisfied with him.

Andre sat down, wanting to say hello to Cooper.

"Mia, just now..." Andre started to speak, but his adorable wife saw him coming and immediately hung up the call.

Then, she looked at him nervously, "Andre, when did you get here?"
