Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 439

Who would have thought that Andre would walk right up to her bedroom door! His eyes met the shimmering pair of eyes that were peeking through the slightly ajar door.

Mia waved her petite hand through the narrow gap and said in a soft voice, “Goodbye, hubby.” Then, with a swift “snap”, she closed the door.

Andre turned his head to glance at his sister’s bedroom not far away. Her door was also surreptitiously closed.

Leo was in a pickle, not because he was on his way to find Tom, but because he had a loose tongue.

Andre decided not to beat his nephew this time. He had learned from his wife’s personal experience that corporal punishment was more effective in making them remember their mistakes.

So, it was time for Leo to do a handstand!

Mia and Molly, separated by a few walls, were chatting in their small group on their smartphones.

[I wonder how Leo is doing now. What do you think my husband will do to him?]

Molly replied, [Leo should become used to getting punished by now. I think he can handle whatever Andre throws at him.]

Mia sent another message, [Don’t be too sure. My husband’s slap really hurts.]

[Have you been slapped before?]

[Yes.]

Andre looked at the group chat on the table, then at his own hand, which clenched into a fist. He was confused. “When did I slap her?”

The messages kept pinging on the table. Every time a new message arrived, the table would vibrate.

Leo, currently standing on his hands as punishment, bit his lip and prayed, “Please don’t let those two women be the ones sending messages in the group!”

Andre, cunning as ever, searched the group chat for keywords: “my hubby”, “Andre”, “my uncle”.

Well, there were a whopping 483 messages that contained “my hubby”. Mia must be shouting “my hubby” all day in the group.

He roughly estimated that there were at least 1000 messages discussing him in the group. They spent their whole day discussing him instead of doing something productive. How come he didn’t know that these three kids were talking about him all day?

“Andre, I can’t hold on any longer.”

“You better hold on even if you can’t!”

Andre coldly glanced at his handstanding nephew, whose arms were trembling and face was turning red.

“Andre, can I just stand at attention? I’ll stand for two hours.” He would rather stand at attention for two hours than do a handstand for ten minutes.

Andre said, “Say one more word, and you’ll handstand for half an hour.”

Leo gritted his teeth and endured. Handstanding was truly torturous!

Later, after the punishment was over, Leo went back to his room and didn’t come out again. He didn’t even come down for dinner.

Molly knocked on Leo’s door and asked in a soft voice, “Do you need me to call an ambulance?”

Leo’s voice came out, “No need to waste medical resources.”

Molly asked, “Then what do you need?”

“To become a monk.”

Molly sighed as she looked at her nephew’s room. “Poor kid.”

Mia was dragged by her husband back to the room to admit to everything she had said about him in the group.

“Honey, are you...?”

Before she could finish her sentence, Andre answered, “I love you. I haven’t changed my mind. I haven’t cheated. There’s only you.”

Mia thought. “Damn, guilt-tripping doesn’t work anymore.”
