Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 672

Mia scooped up the little one and made her way to her husband's study. She knocked gently on the door, "Hey babe, dad's coming over soon. When you're done, come out, okay?"

Without waiting for a response, she carried their son back downstairs.

The living room in Maplewood Estates felt a bit more spacious than the Cedillo family's, giving the family of three plenty of room. The Cedillo's living area was big too, but it seemed more cramped with all the people living there.

The luxurious marble floor was covered with a thick, white plush rug that muffled every step.

A couple of housekeepers were bustling around, setting out fruit on the table for Mia as she walked in.

The little guy, spotting the fruit, immediately dropped his teething ring and reached for a big apple.

"Your teeth haven't even come in yet, and you're already eyeing solid food. Let's wait until those teeth come in, buddy." Mia picked up the discarded teething ring from the couch and handed it back to him. "A little dirt won't hurt you, chew on this instead."

Despite his earlier excitement, the little one refused to take back the teething ring.

Not long after, Andre joined them, scooping up the little "bundle" from the plush rug with one hand and sitting next to his wife, "What's dad coming over for?"

"Who knows, probably bored at home and looking for some fun here," Mia replied, munching on an apple.

Their son, eyes locked on his mother's mouth, could hear the crunching sounds of the apple and started drooling all over his onesie and his dad's hand.

Andre chuckled as he wiped his hand and their son's mouth with a napkin. "Looks like my boy's getting jealous."

Mia playfully held the partially eaten apple to her husband's mouth, and he took a bite, joining in on the fun.

Sitting on his dad's lap, the little one looked up at them, visibly feeling left out.

"Ah, ah, ah," he protested, clearly upset he wasn't getting any.

His tiny body tensed up, on the verge of tears.

Just as Mia offered the apple to her son, his pouty face turned into an excited open-mouthed grin, leaning forward eagerly.

But then, Mia pulled the apple back, "Nope, you can't have it."

Seeing this, his little mouth turned downwards, and he was about to burst into tears when...

"Here you go, you can have it."

That tricky mom handed the apple back, amusing herself with her son's reactions.

"Ah, ah!" His mouth opened wide again, tears forgotten, as he made another attempt at the apple.

Mia, now thoroughly enjoying herself, pulled the apple away again, "Just kidding, you can't have it."

Andre watched their son's disappointed face, his own lips curled in amusement.

"Bzz, Wah~"

The little one finally broke into real tears, his cheeks glistening with droplets.
