Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 731

Anya's idea had Hansen all excited. He couldn't wait to tell his daughter and Mia, "Hey, let's all go surprise Leo."

Mia gave him a side-eye. "Just make sure your surprise doesn't turn into a scare."

Hansen chuckled. "No way. Anya told me Leo's been missing me; he's just too stubborn to admit it. Ah, as the older folks, we should just swallow our pride and go see the kid."

Aunt Lisa chimed in, "Dad, with a line like that, as Leo's 'elders,' we've got to go see the 'kid'!" Mia would never miss a chance to playfully one-up Leo.

Now, Mia was Leo's "elder."

When it was Molly's turn, Hansen, having learned from his experience with Mia, asked directly, "As elders, should we go check on Leo this weekend?"

Molly looked at him, puzzled. "Dad, are you feeling alright?"

Hansen replied, "Just tell me if you're coming or not."

"Of course, I'm coming. I'm his aunt; I've got to see my precious nephew," Jade said, patting her chest with a mischievous grin.

When the weekend arrived, Mia woke Henry up early despite his groggy state. Andre, still half-asleep, muttered, "Let him sleep. He'll just start crying again when he wakes up. Such a little troublemaker."

Mia was resolute. "Today, it's just us two heading out. You stay home."

"Where are you going?" Andre asked.

Mia paused, then replied, "A hotel."

Andre, guessing who his wife and son were going to visit, didn't ask further.

Henry cried as his mom dressed him, but soon enough, the Cedillo family car arrived to pick them up.

Mia was the last one to get in the car.

"Mia, where's your husband?" Hansen noticed his second son was missing.

Mia shrugged. "He didn't want to deal with me, went to play basketball with some friends."

In the car, Henry sat in his mom's lap, fighting off sleep. Mia gently rocked him. "Don't sleep, Henry. If you sleep, mommy will spank you. Come on, stay awake."

Henry's cries grew louder, filling the car with his wailing. Hansen rubbed his ears. "Mia, please calm your son down. I'm not deaf yet, but he's getting me there."

Mia sighed. "Open the sunroof."

Once the sunroof was open, Henry, supported under his arms by his mom, looked up at the sky, babbling happily, "Ah~ Momma ah ah ah."

He stopped crying and started chattering in baby talk.

Mia occasionally responded to his babble, knowing that if she ignored him, his bad temper would flare up.

The car's temperature rose quickly, so Anya turned the air conditioning to max.

Molly looked at her chubby nephew and teased, "Your quirk of riding with the sunroof open didn't come from me. Don't let your mom blame me for it this time!"

Anya, in the front passenger seat, laughed. "The baby must have inherited it from Chad; he'll probably love convertibles in the future."

Hansen nodded in agreement. "Anya's right. I bet Henry will also be a fan of open-top cars. It's a pity his dad, Andre, is full of quirks and hard to talk to. What if he refuses to buy a sports car for Henry in the future?"

Mia answered for her son. "Then we'll just take all the sports cars from Chad's garage, right, son?"
